Kinlochewe Hotel - refreshments and good food only 10 minutes walk away from Greenhill. Sample from a good selection of real ales and malt whisky.

Ledgown Lodge Hotel - ten miles from Greenhill. Drive to Achnasheen and at the roundabout turn right and you will see the sign.

Badachro Inn, Badachro - just before Gairloch (about 17 miles from Greenhill) turn left over a small bridge and drive to Badachro about another 3.5 miles. A charming small inn with great views and good food.

The Whistle Stop Cafe - 15 minutes walk from Greenhill - A good place for lunch, dinner, teas and coffees. They have a very nice wood burning stove, which is great on a cold day. The scones, jam and cream are great and good value. The walls are decorated with artwork by local artists and they are for sale.

Loch Maree Hotel - it has been recently renovated and just opened at Easter 2013. We were the first to enjoy a meal there.

Tigh an Eilean Hotel, Shieldaig - Good small bar with local brews and a restaurant that sells local seafood.

Kinlochewe Store & Post Office - a handy shop only 10 minutes walk from Greenhill.

Loch Torridon Smokehouse - See Mandy for cold and hot smoked salmon and prawns (langoustines)

Applecross Smokehouse - A wee bit farther away round the coast towards Applecross but Derek MacIver  will be able to sort you out with your fresh fish needs.

Tesco and Lidl in Dingwall - 40 miles drive from Greenhill.
